Return Window
You may return eligible items within 5-7 days of receiving your order. The return window begins on the date of delivery as confirmed by our shipping partner. We encourage you to inspect your items as soon as they arrive so that any issues can be addressed promptly.
International Shipping
We ship internationally! Please note that international shipping charges are borne by the customer. For domestic orders within India, standard shipping rates apply.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and free from stains, odors, or damage.
- All original tags and labels must still be attached.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging.
- Sale items and items marked as "final sale" are not eligible for returns.
- Accessories such as hair clips and bands are not eligible for returns due to hygiene reasons.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, follow these simple steps:
- Contact us: Send an email to hello@studiobutwhy.com with your order number and the reason for your return.
- Receive confirmation: Our team will review your request and send you a return authorization along with shipping instructions within 1 to 2 business days.
- Pack and ship: Carefully pack the item(s) in the original packaging and ship them using a trackable shipping method. Please include the return authorization number inside the package.
- Drop off your package: Ship the return to the address provided in the return authorization email.
Refund Process
Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it within 2 to 3 business days. You will be notified via email once the inspection is complete.
- If the return is approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5-7 days.
- Shipping charges from the original order are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our part.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. If we arranged a pickup, the cost may be deducted from your refund.
- Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund to your account.
Exchanges
We are happy to help with exchanges for a different size or color, subject to availability. To request an exchange:
- Email us at hello@studiobutwhy.com with your order number and the item you would like to exchange, along with the preferred size or color.
- We will confirm availability and provide instructions for shipping the original item back.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will ship the replacement to you at no additional cost (for exchanges due to sizing).
